    HOW TO ON LINUX:

    1. Make sure you have Wine installed.
    2. Download and install both Rooihub and ApexDC++
    3. Open both Rooihub and ApexDC++
    4. Connect to address “localhost:13000″

You might need to kill Rooihub after each time you use it. This is done by the console command “killall -v Rooihub.exe”

  5. Mike says:

  7. Thea says:

My Rooihub wouldn’t open ’cause it said that my nickname was in use already (even though it wasn’t), so I downloaded the new DC and everything. No when I want to open Rooihub, I click on connect and then nothing happens. When I click on it again, it shows an error message: “Set of local port failed (bind()): No error
    What should I do?

  8. Chantel says:

I have a Mac, is there a way to run rooihub on a Mac operating system?

  9. Mottamort says:

For the “Set of local port failed (bind()): No error” problem, you need to kill the process Rooihub.exe by going into task manager. As a rule of thumb install a DC++ client first THEN install rooihub, and restart your system. :)

This one says unable to open TCP/TLS port. Files will not work correctly until you change settings or turn off any applications that might be using the TCP/TLS port. Please help.

I have the same problem as Chantel, is it possible to install rooihub on a mac?

  12. lappop says:

Hey, when i run rooihub it gets stuck on the settings window. It shows the windows loading mouse cursor, but doesn’t go any further.

How do I fix this problem?

  13. Mia says:

    Hello

When I open Rooihub (newly installed dc and rooihub – new pc) it gets stuck on the settings window and doesn’t go any further.

    How can I fix this

  14. Pate says:

@Mia, by Settings window, do you mean ApexDC++’s settings window or the RooiHub splash screen?

You may want to check if there is Firewall “Allow Access?” window somewhere in the background blocking your input. Make sure you have the latest version of ApexDC++ and re-install it to make sure.

  15. Rohan Scott says:

Please help. There are still no responses relating to rooihub for mac. Is there a way to run rooihub on lion OSX? I already have a DC program, but what about rooihub? Is it not possible to just use an address straight in dc?

  16. Pate says:

Hi Rohan. No, RooiHub only runs on Windows. You can try running it in an emulator with network access, and quickly connecting your DC++ client to localhost:13000.

  17. bob says:

Last year my dc was working perfectly. Over the holidays I formatted my laptop, and now it doesn’t work. When I open rooihub, dc doesn’t open and nothing happens. I’m connected to the sun network, and I don’t have an antivirus and my firewall is off. Any suggestions?

  18. Pate says:

Which SUN network are you connected to? Which res?

  19. bob says:

Well I’m in dagbreek, but I’m connected to I guess the standard stellenbosch network (my internet works). All my internet settings seem to be the same as some of the guys whose dc works.. When I open rooihub only the little rooihub settings thing pops up, but dc never opens. I’ve tried it with different versions of dc, but same result… Is there some setting in dc I can change so that it might see rooihub or vice versa?
