Causes
- RooiHub is already running or did not close properly.
- Another application may be trying to use the RooiHub ports (unlikely).
Solutions
- Close RooiHub it by right-clicking on the RooiHub tray icon and selecting Exit.
- If there is no icon, run taskmgr.exe from the Run prompt and end the “RooiHub.exe” task. Run RooiHub again.

Dit se:

en niks run nerens nie nie eers op die task manager nie. asb help?
Selfde as sune…het uninstall en weer install ook…um help?
My DC crash net nadat ek dit oop gemaak het, en gee dan die message:

ek het ook help nodig. het die instruksies bo gedoen, maar dit gee nog steeds, ‘set of local port failed (blind()): No error’.

Hi!
Het al die instructions gevolg, nuwe DC install, latest Rooihub gedownload. Tog sit ek steed met dieselfde probleem. As ek net die warning ignore kom ek in maar dan is daar niemand anders op nie.
Any ideas?

help asb ek het di selfde probleem as die res hierbo sukkel nou al vir omtrent 2 weeke.
ek sit ok met dieselfde probleem. toe uninstall ek als en install weer, nou gooi rooihub nieers meer die errors nie, dit maak net gladi saam met dc oop nie? kan iemand dalk help?

Okay mense, baie dom vraag: Ek gebruik die SCN om internet te gebruik en stuff… kan ek rooi hub gebruik? wat kan ek als doen??
Im having the exact same problem and nomatter how many times i close and re-run it, it still says the same thing. have even tried downloading it a million times but nothing works…..help pleeeeezzz
Just follow instructions!
1. Uninstall Rooihub
2. Restart PC
3. Reinstall rooihub.
Should work!

maybe for interest: running windows xp on a mac (with parallels desktop). installed rooihub and apexdc++ properly, don’t know why he has this problem…..

I get the set of local port message despite having re-intalled a few times. What can I do?
i had the same problem as everyone else and when i tried to use task manager to kill the process i couldnt see it on there.
i tried again later and instead of looking in the applications tab for rooihub i went to the processes tab and scrolled down to R and found rooihub there; i killed the process there and now rooihub is working again. so i hope that, that might help anyone.
I also get that message that everyone else gets. How can we fix this? Is there no IT guy that reads these comments and help the people??
