Aside from the shutdown of the world’s largest BitTorrent tracker, there is silent discussion about a major development that will replace BitTorrent forever. TorrentFreak mentioned that the owners of The Pirate Bay are talking with other BitTorrent website owners to replace the p2p protocol.

Mininova goes legit, deletes all illegal material, 27 November 2009:

Now with two of the largest websites finally submitting to RIAA and MPAA lawsuites and court rulings, the world of torrent based websites is slowly coming to an end, but will only push illegal downloaders further underground and into other methods of downloading.
